About the event
All foster parents must complete a class called TIPS [Trauma Informed Partnering for Safety and Permanence]. Â This 10 week class meets on Thursday evening each week. TIPS training is required by the state of Alabama to give families the necessary skills to parent children within the foster care system.Â
